Addition to an educational facility in Florence, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility.
Florence Classroom Addition Sealed bids are requested for the proposed construction related to the Florence Classroom Addition on the campus of Florence School District. One combined bid will be accepted for complete construction, including all general, structural, mechanical, electrical, material, and labor required to provide a complete project. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, and the words "Bid for Florence School Addition". All bidders must follow the AIA Document A701 "Instructions to Bidders" and AIA Document A201 "General Conditions of the Contract for Construction". Faxed bids and bid adjustments are not accepted. Each bid must be accompanied by either a certified or cashier's check for at least 5% of the total bid or a bid bond of at least 10% of the bid amount as a guarantee to enter into a contract for the described work. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities. Preference will be given in accordance with statutory authority to contracts, labor, materials, products, and supplies found or produced within the State of South Dakota.
