Renovation of an educational facility in Bardonia, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 76,936-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
Separate Prime Contracts will be let for: 3 Plumbing Construction #1 - (PC-01) Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, drawn upon a National or State Bank or Trust Company, payable to the order of the Nanuet Union Free School District, or a bond from a surety licensed to practice business in the State of New York with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, conditioned that if this bid is accepted, successful bidder will enter into a contract for the same and that he will execute such further security as may be required for the performance of the contract. A separate Performance Bond, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will also be required of the successful bidders, and the bond shall be from a surety licensed to practice business in the State of New York, satisfactory to the School Board. A separate Payment Bond, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will also be required of the successful bidders, and the bond shall be from a surety licensed to practice business in the State of New York, satisfactory to the School Board. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Owner shall have the right to reject any or all Bids Document Notes : Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs.
