The State of Florida Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as the "Department" is soliciting written bids from qualified bidders to establish a contract to install eight (8) Stormtite Model 620 powered roll-up doors to enclose four (4) open bays, It is anticipated that the term of the contract will begin on or about MAR 19, 2026 and all work must be completed by JUNE 1, 2026. Posting of Responses to All Questions - March 3, 2026 11:00 Am FDOT - District Five Orlando Operations Equipment Bay Enclosure Roll Up Doors The Florida Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as "Department", District 5 Orlando Operations located at 420 W. Landstreet Road, Orlando Florida 32824, (Facility) seeks to obtain the services of a certified licensed and insured contractor for a Turnkey installation of eight (8) Stormtite Model 620 powered rollup doors to enclose four (4) open bays that are 12'W x 10'H . The successful bidder awarded this contract shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies needed to complete this project. Bids will only be accepted from bidders that attended and signed in at the MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING held at the jobsite. Proposals from bidders who did not sign in and attend the full pre-bid meeting will be rejected unopened. The work described herein includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to enclose four (4) equipment bays by installing eight (8) Stormtite Model 620 powered roll-up doors and operators. a) Two (2) bays, four (4) roll up doors will be flush mounted b) Two (2) bays, four (4) roll up doors will be mounted between jam / in jamb mounting. c) Door will include: Roll-formed interlocking metal slats. Opening and closing speed: Door to operate at variable speed of 6 to 12 inches per second. Operation cycles of a minimum of 20,000 cycles (A cycle is considered when door is completely closed and then fully opened and then back to completely closed). Wind load design must withstand ultimate static pressure load of 26 psf (1.25kPa). Curtain Material: Galvanized steel 22-gauge, slat profile F-265, color gray. Bottom bar: Galvanized steel, Extruded T profile, powder coated black Locking options: Slide lock. Locking location: Both jambs. Lock access: Coil side. Weatherstripping and seal: Required on interior, exterior, and lintel brush seal. Side guards: Steel, powder coated black. Brackets: Steel, powder coated black Counterbalance: Helical torsion spring type with deflection limited to 0.03 inch per foot of span. Adjustable spring tension required. Hood: Gray
