Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Berea, North Dakota. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

02-122-36.0 - Bridge Replacement (1 mile West and 2 miles North of Kathryn, ND) 02-132-40.0 - Bridge Replacement (1 Mile SE of Nome, ND) Barnes County is requesting the services of qualified engineering firms to perform construction engineering on the following projects to be completed in 2026. All costs associated with the proposal shall be borne by the proposer. The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to not award contracts for any and/or all projects. The County plans to interview up to three (3) of the most qualified engineering firms based on whose proposals most clearly meet the RFP requirements. Acceptance of an Engineering firm will be made by the Board of Barnes County Commissioners at their 3/17/2026 regular meeting. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
