Scope of Work includes the construction of a Lift Station and Force Main to serve Wildbloom Subdivision, within Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 291. Instructions to bidders: Sealed bids must be received at the office of GFT, 3200 Southwest Freeway, Suite 1600, Houston, Texas 77027, by 10:30 a.m. Local Time, February 18th, 2026. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the contract documents and execute the bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and bonds within seven (7) days after the date contract documents are received. If a certified or cashier’s check is provided, the original must be delivered within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive defects and irregularities in bidding or the bidding process except the time for submitting a bid. The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder which, in the Board’s judgment, will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this bid and the bidder agrees that the contract documents can be terminated if the bidder knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. Work covered by these Technical Specifications is entitled "Construction of Lift Station & Force Main to serve Wildbloom Subdivision for Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 291, Fort Bend County, Texas." 2. Description of Work. a. Under this Contract, Contractor shall furnish all materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and all labor and superintendence necessary for the construction of the Work as described in these Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. The completed installation shall not lack any part that can be reasonably implied as necessary to its proper functioning or any subsidiary item that is customarily furnished, and Contractor shall deliver the installation to Owner in operating condition. b. The Work, in general, under this Contract includes the purchase, installation, and construction of all structures, equipment, and materials, necessary. (3) Install 231 linear feet of 12-inch PVC AWWA C900 DR21 (ASTM D-2241) pipe, with bedding and backfill, all depths, per details and specifications. (4) Repair existing pavement affected; (5) Furnish and install all subsidiary items as necessary to complete the project; (6) Perform testing as specified on installed facilites; and (7) Clean-up project area upon completion.including appurtenances, as indicated on the Plans. Major items of construction and services required are designated as follows: (1) Construction of Sanitary Sewer Lift Station to include: wet well with liner, electrical, controls, cabinets, dual submersible Flygt Concertor DP N100-6400 pumps (or approved equal), ductile iron piping, testing, site grading, bollards, and necessary appurtenances. (2) Install 48 linear feet of 8-inch PVC AWWA C900 DR18 Class 150 force main (green in color), including bedding, backfill, thrust blocking, restraints and fittings as
