Site work and new construction of a civil project in Macomb, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project is for the construction of the Macomb Water Treatment Plant Improvements, which include the construction of a new Reverse Osmosis treatment plant, ground storage tanks, high service pump station, water pipeline, and a storage building. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond amounting to not less than 10 percent of the gross amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Macomb. The project will be awarded to the low, responsive, responsible bid for the proposed work. Bidders are required to undertake specified affirmative efforts at least sixteen days prior to bid opening, and to comply with various federal and state regulations and policies regarding labor, disadvantaged business enterprises, and material sourcing requirements.
