This is a regional contract that includes counties within District Six. The Contractor shall provide a letter to the Department at the time of bid, from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida, verifying the Contractor is bondable in the State of Florida. For the purposes of this Contract the dollar amount is established at $500,000.00. FDOT - 001 - Pre-Event - Emergency Lighting Permanent Repair Provide Lighting Repair and Replacement Operations pursuant to a Governor's and/or President's Declaration of a State Emergency. This is a regional contract that includes counties within District Six. Perform Lighting Repair and Replacement Operations pursuant to the terms of this Contract and at the direction of the Department Provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to perform the following listed services in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and laws. All Lighting Repair and Replacement Operations must be performed in the presence of Department personnel or their designated representative, unless otherwise authorized by the Department. 2.1 Field Operations - Lighting Repair and Replacement Operations A. Once road priorities are established by the Department or its representative, Lighting Repair and Replacement Crews are required to complete entire sectors and/or corridors prior to moving on to other areas. Assigned roadways must not be bypassed unless directed by the Department or its designated representative. B. Lighting is to be installed at the original location(s) unless otherwise directed by the Department or its designated representative. C. Coordinate with utility companies, as required, to permit safe operations and to prevent blockage of critical utility devices. D. Immediately notify the Department of any damages the Contractor causes. Document damage with digital photos and provide electronically to the Department and Owner. Repair all damage caused in accordance with Article 7-11.1 prior to final invoicing and at no expense to the Department.
