Site work and paving for a road / highway in Linton, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work shall consist of milling, patching, and resurfacing with Hot Mix Asphalt of various streets in Linton, as well as the replacement of pavement markings, and all other work necessary for roadway restoration as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications. Bids must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid, payable to the City of Linton. The Contractor's Bid for Public Work - Form 96 must be filled out and included with the bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Maintenance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract. All required information by the bid proposal form must be supplied. The Contractor and all subcontractors must comply with Federal and State labor regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity, E-Verify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities, and may hold bids for up to sixty days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract.
