The City of Forney is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms to establish an Annual Price Agreement Contract for Concrete Maintenance & Repair services. The selected contractors will be required to furnish all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, fuel, superintendence, insurance, and bonds, and perform all work needed for the maintenance and repair of concrete streets, parking lots, driveways, driveway aprons, flumes, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. This agreement is specifically for ongoing maintenance and repair tasks and does not include new construction. Contractors will be contacted on an as-needed basis by the Public Works/Engineering Department to perform general concrete maintenance and repair as specified. Contractors must provide all materials, equipment, and labor, and must supply a two-year Performance and Maintenance Bond for the contract value. If a work order exceeds $50,000, a payment bond is required, and a performance bond is mandatory for work orders above $100,000. Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or proposal bond equal to 5% of the maximum bid amount.
