**As of April 21, 2026, the project was awarded to Advanced Sports Group, LLC, with an awarded amount of $1,240,259.07** Cobb County ("county" or "Owner") is issuing this solicitation for the conversion of five (5) natural softball infields to synthetic turf at Al Bishop Park. Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, appliances, etc. pursuant to the plans, specifications, conditions, and addenda for the conversion of five (5) infields at Al Bishop to synthetic turf. This project consists of removal of the existing natural infield's materials and replacing the infields with full synthetic turf, subsurface base, and necessary under field drainage. All Bidders must be licensed by the state of Georgia as a General Contractor. BOC Consideration: April 14, 202 Contracts Issue: By July 1, 2026 Notice to Proceed On or about July 6, 2026 The construction duration for the work in this contract is one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days. Failure to substantially complete the work within 180 calendar days plus any approved extensions shall result in liquidated damages in the amount of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per calendar day. Final completion shall be reached within 30 days of substantial completion. Failure to reach final completion within that time period will result in liquidated damages of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per calendar day.
