General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Warranty Information Required Award Requirements - All or None Award SITE LOCATIONS: • • India Hook Elementary- 2068 Yukon Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29732 Mount Holly Elementary- 1800 Porter Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730 SCOPE OF WORK The District is seeking competitive sealed bids for Outdoor Control Unit Replacements at India Hook and Mount Holly Elementary Schools Acquire Services & Supplies/Equipment: The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire services and supplies or equipment complying with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions. Scope of Work: o Disconnect and Remove factory installed Automated Logic controllers and point expanders for each unit. Provide, install, terminate wiring, program, start-up and check out new DDC controller with all necessary IO expansion components, to facilitate the OEM points and sequence of operation for each unit. New DDC controllers shall be capable of integrating with the existing Tridium/Vykon JACE controller for the schools. Provide programming, configuration, and graphics development for these systems in the School Districts N4 Web Supervisor for each unit.Provide a written start-up and check-out verification document for each of the eight (8) units included in this scope. Provide engineered submittals with wiring diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials and product cut sheets for approval by the Rock Hill School District prior to any installation work on-site. Provide as-built submittals and 4 hours of operator training at project close-out. Provide 1 year warranty on new components furnished plus programming labor to correct any serious logic or operational errors which cause faulty operation or excessive equipment and/or controlled variable cycling. Immediately notify the Rock Hill School District of any mechanical or component failures that are part of the existing systems, as they are discovered. The School District will repair or replace any existing, non-operational components separately from this contract. These units are in mechanical mezzanines. Limited work may be performed during normal school hours provided the contractor's personnel is approved by the School Districts security department. Any work performed during normal school hours must not interfere with or interrupt classes or school operations. Units may not be taken offline for extended periods unless school is not in session. Work must be scheduled and executed such that the units can run and provide ventilation air when school is in session. All installation work must be done in a neat, professional manner, acceptable to industry standards. All work must meet National, State and Local building and electrical codes. Contractors must furnish a schedule of values for approval prior to invoicing for any progress payments. The approved schedule of values must accompany all progress payment invoicing. Contractor must provide a project schedule for approval prior to beginning work. This document is meant to be a written plan for project completion.
