Site work for a civil project in Toledo, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Water Meter Replacement including replacing approximately 287 - 5/8" x 3/4" water meters with stealth radio, 287 retrofit registers with MIU radio, 10 - 1" water meters with stealth radio, 11 - 2" water meters with stealth radio, 595 water meter lids, 1 AMI Infrastructure base package, lining the existing raw water retention tank, constructing an interconnect to EJ Water, and all appurtenances in the Village of Toledo. Bids shall be in accordance with the requirements, including those regarding funding from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the Davis-Bacon Act, Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, Illinois Works Jobs Program Act, and the Build America, Buy America Act. Bidders must undertake specified affirmative efforts related to disadvantaged business enterprises at least sixteen days prior to bid opening. Contractors are required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to the Contract Price, are required from the successful bidder. The Village of Toledo reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for up to 120 days for review and qualification investigation prior to contract award.
