Clean/TV approximately 40,000 feet of 8-18 inch sanitary sewer; line approximately 20,000 feet of 8-18 inch sewers by UV cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP); remove protruding service laterals; perform point repairs, reconnect active services, and conduct testing. Rehabilitate approximately 30 services via CIPP or replace. Rehabilitate approximately 40 manholes with cementitious mortar and miscellaneous work such as frames and covers, rebuild benches and inverts. Related work includes bypass pumping, traffic control, and restoration. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This PROJECT will rehabilitate existing sanitary sewers and manholes throughout the Owner’s service area to reduce inflow and infiltration into the sewer system and to repair significant structural defects that are causing re-occurring maintenance issues. Work may include cleaning and televising sewers to determine the condition of the sewers and to identify needed repairs, performing point repairs to existing manholes and sewers to repair specific defects, installing new sewers and manholes to replace existing sewers and manholes, installation of cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP) in sewers, other miscellaneous manhole rehabilitation work including coating manholes with specialized cementitious mortar, and other miscellaneous work including restoration.
