Renovation of an educational facility in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed proposals are requested for two projects: MLK School Locker Room Renovations and USC Locker Room Renovations. Each bid must include a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid Bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the owner, in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid (maximum $20,000), naming Atlantic City Board of Education as payee or obligee. Bidders must meet requirements of New Jersey State Law, including Prequalification of Bidders, Prevailing Wage Rates, Use of Domestic Materials, and corporate/partnership disclosure for individuals with at least a 10% share. Contractors must be registered under "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" and provide proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. Each bid must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating it will provide the required bond. Proposals cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid opening date. The right is reserved to waive minor irregularities and reject bids as per applicable statutes. Bidders must comply with laws against discrimination. Further details are provided in the bid packages. No proposals may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date set for opening of bids. Right is reserved to waive minor irregularities and to reject bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22.
