Each PRIME CONTRACTOR choosing to BID MUST obtain BID DOCUMENTS from the office of JAMES C. HAILEY & COMPANY, Consulting Engineers. Contract 126 Rankin Branch Emergency Sewer Rehab consists of the removal, replacement, and installation of approximately 550 linear feet of ductile iron gravity sewer and concrete manholes with HDPE pipe and HDPE manholes. This includes any temporary service connections and by-pass pumping to maintain service to the existing sewers. The project includes all tie-ins, service replacement and reconnections, asphalt replacement and repairs, and all necessary appurtenances to provide a complete project. The allotted time for construction is 120 calendar days, and interested parties should be prepared to mobilize as soon as material is available. Each prime contractor choosing to bid must obtain bid documents from the office of James C. Hailey & Company, Consulting Engineers, located at 360 Cool Springs Blvd., Suite 100, Franklin, TN 37067, upon a non-refundable payment of $50.00. Bid documents are non-transferable. Paper copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained from James C. Hailey & Company upon a non-refundable payment of $300.00 per set. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of their bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the City of Gallatin. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
