Sealed bids will be received for the construction of 0.028 miles of bridge and approaches on the Saucier Advance Road, known as Local System Bridge Program (LSBP) Project No. LSBP-24(20) in Harrison County, Mississippi. Principal items of work include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, removal of bridge, unclassified and excess excavation, crushed stone, maintenance of traffic, installation of construction signs and traffic object markers, erosion control items (agricultural limestone, commercial fertilizer, seeding, mulching, sodding, geotextile fabric stabilization, temporary silt fence, wattles), bridge items (test piles, prestressed concrete piling, preformed pile holes, precast concrete slab units—interior and curb, beam-type railing, precast concrete caps—intermediate and end units, precast concrete wings, loose riprap, geotextile under riprap). Contract time is 55 working days. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder of published quantities. Bid documents are available at designated offices and online for viewing or download; electronic bids may be submitted online prior to the stated opening date and time. Each bid must include a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than five percent of the bid amount. Bids qualifying the conditions under which they are tendered will be considered irregular and not accepted. All bids must be properly marked and on file with the Clerk prior to the stated deadline. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
