The City of Rocheport is requesting qualifications for engineering services to assist with the construction of a flood wall within the city limits. Services may include, but are not limited to, evaluating options for a floodwall, preparing basic engineering reports, preparing design drawings, specifications, construction contracts, bidding services, and overseeing construction activities. All construction work must be complete prior to June 30, 2026. Qualification information provided to the City shall include: the specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required; the capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project; the past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules; the firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located; and the firm's professional experience in designing systems for flood mitigation projects.
