The Board of Springfield Township Trustees May Reject Any and All of the Bids on Any Basis and Without Disclosure of a Reason. The Failure to Make Such a Disclosure Shall Not Result in Accrual of Any Right, Claim, or Cause of Action by Any Unsuccessful Bidder Against the Board of Springfield Township Trustees. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity, and a Complete Listing of All Subcontractors to Be Used. Additionally, Each Bidder Must Provide Proof of Insurance. The Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond Shall Be in an Amount Equal to 100% of the Bid. Cashier's Check or Money Order on a Solvent Bank or Savings and Loan Association Shall Be in an Amount Equal to, but Not Less Than, 10% of the Bid. Each of the Aforementioned Shall Guarantee to the Township That if a Proper and Acceptable Contract for the Faithful Performance of His Work is Awarded by the Township, in the Event the Contractor Fails to Enter Into a Proper Contract, an Amount Equal to 10% of the Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or the Full Amount of the Cashier's Check Or Money Order on a Solvent Bank or Savings and Loan Association Will Be Forfeited to Springfield Township as Liquidating Damages. Upon Acceptance Of the Work, a One Year Maintenance Bond in the Amount of 25% of the Contract Will Be Required to Guarantee Such Work. Each Bid Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Proposal and All Persons Interested Therein. Appliances Required for the Demolition of All Structures Located at 1214 Trust Drive, Holland Ohio 43528. The Work for 1214 Trust Dr. Includes All Permitting as Required, Water and Sewer Kills at the Right of Way, Utility Shutoffs (Gas and Water Meters Have Been Pulled, Electric Has Been Contacted by the Township for Shutoff), Razing of All Structures and Removal Of All Debris, Including Foundation and Footers and Backfilling to Existing Grade With Clean Soil and Hydroseeding. Parking Lot to Remain and Will Not Be Included as Part of Demolition Agreement. Solar Panels and Related Equipment Will Be Removed by a Contractor Chosen by the Township Prior to Demolition And Will Not Be Included as Part of the Demolition Agreement. Asbestos Survey Has Been Completed With No Asbestos Found and No Vermiculite.
