Work includes removal of the existing overhead flashing beacon and installation of a new fully signalized Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (HAWK) system, including signal poles and mast arms, signal heads, controller cabinet, pedestrian detection equipment, underground conduit and wiring, associated foundations, and related appurtenances. Additional work includes ADA-compliant pedestrian accessibility improvements (including accessible pedestrian signal features), pavement markings, and traffic signage upgrades within the project limits, as well as electrical service improvements required for reliable operation.
