This call for tenders is for a construction contract to open, maintain, and winterize a camp equipped with fully furnished tents and to dismantle the camp. The contract will span two summer seasons, in 2026 and 2027. The camp, which in the summer of 2026 will house a geological mapping team working in an isolated environment (16 to 19 people), has been in existence for several years and has several tents set up as well as the equipment essential to its proper functioning. The geological work will be completed in the summer of 2026, and the camp will be partially dismantled during the 2026 season, with the remainder of the dismantling to be carried out in the summer of 2027. The contractor must also provide the camp with one (1) camp worker with significant experience in isolated mining camps for both seasons. The camp is located in Nunavik, near Esker Lake, at the following coordinates on SNRC sheet 35G10: The camp site is accessible only by plane (charter or commercial flight provided by the MRNF). Duration of work: - Summer 2026: June 25 to August 31, 2026 - Summer 2027: July 14 to August 6, 2027 The bid must be submitted by a contractor who has a permanent place of business in Quebec or in one of the territories covered by the applicable government agreements, clearly identified by name and accessible during normal business hours.
