Renovation of a museum in Windsor, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The work consists of stabilizing and securing a permanent foundation for the historic Cunningham House. The scope of work includes lifting the structure, constructing a new permanent foundation, performing framing retrofits, installing full structural sheathing, and completing all ancillary tasks required to deliver a fully stabilized and structurally sound building. The estimate of the quantities of work to be done is approximate only, being as a basis for the comparison of bids, and the Town does not expressly or by implication agree that the actual amount of work will correspond therewith but reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount or any portion of the work as directed by the Town Project Manager. Incidental items of construction necessary to complete the whole work in a satisfactory and acceptable manner as shown on the plans and as provided for in the specifications and not specifically referred to in this section, shall be understood to be furnished by the Contractor.
