Site work and renovation of a civil project in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of pre-construction services and construction of upgrades and modifications to the existing sewer pump station facilities, including pump and motor replacement, bar screen and influent gate replacement, temporary and permanent bypass pumping provisions, replacing all suction and force main piping within the dry well, electrical systems upgrades, air scrubber system replacement, miscellaneous building updates, and all associated site, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control work. Instructions to bidders: Competitive sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Chattanooga at the Purchasing Department, via its Supplier Portal. The City will select the Proposal most advantageous to the City based on the information contained in the Proposals and potential interviews. Attendance at the Pre-Proposal Conference and site tour is optional. The City is not liable for any costs incurred in the preparation of Proposals. The successful Proposer will not be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds for Pre-Construction Services contract. Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract amount will be required as part of the GMP Contract Agreement for Construction execution. Any Proposer that contacts any of the City's elected officials or staff, the City Program Manager, or consultants (except as allowed under Article 2.03 of the RFP) for the purpose of influencing the selection process prior to award shall be immediately disqualified and removed from consideration. Question Deadline 04/09/2026 Any explanation desired by a Proposer regarding the meaning or interpretation of this RFP shall be requested in writing via bidinfo@chattanooga.gov , City Purchasing Department, 101 East 11th Street, Suite G13, Chattanooga, TN 37402 An additional Site Tour will be conducted on March 31, 2026 at 10:00 EDT. Proposers desiring a Site Tour may meet at the pump station site located at 4090 N. Hawthorne Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37406.
