Paragraph 1: Woodbury County is seeking a Surface Transportation Block Grant to fund an estimated $3 million overlay project along an approximately 8-mile stretch of County Road D-12 between Iowa Highway 140 and Pierson, Iowa. The County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution committing to provide 20% matching funds, project management responsibilities, and long-term maintenance for at least 20 years. Work is planned to begin in summer 2031, pending grant approval.
