As of April 17, 2026 project was awarded to Hurtado Construction Co, awarded amount is $6,668,888.88 JOBNO. 41617-01 Task 001 Terracon Project No. 92245519 The work consists of the CDBG-MIT Flood and Drainage Mitigation Project, Activity No. 1a - Dry Creek Channel Improvements. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on original forms, delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project and bidder information. The successful bidder must provide a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) upon contract signing. If the bid exceeds $50,000, a Bidder's Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, signed by the Surety and Bidder, is required to accompany the proposal. The project is financed through the General Land Office under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program, and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, including prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rates and nondiscrimination requirements. All contractors and subcontractors must be clear (not suspended or debarred) prior to award. Minority, small, women, veteran-owned, Section 3, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder providing the best value to the City. Bids may be held by the City for up to sixty days to review and investigate qualifications. Bids may be held by the City of Rosenberg for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. NTP is anticipated in April. Contract to be fully completed with construction no later than November 1, 2026
