The University is requesting Proposals to provide Construction Services for roof replacement of three buildings located on the Duluth campus. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents for full project details and requirements. Project Description - The University is seeking a contractor to provide construction services to reroof portions of Sports and Health Center, AB Anderson Hall, and Voss Kovach Hall. The University's intent is to award this Work for all three buildings to one Respondent. The University will issue one contract and require one set of payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance. However, separate building permits, purchase orders, and payment applications will be made for each project/location. Note the following details on each project: 1. Sports and Health Center (Project # 03-521-22-2021) Address: 1216 Ordean Court, Duluth, MN 55812 Summary of Work: The reroof scope is for the replacements of roof areas "C" and "D" as noted on the drawings. Both roof areas will be installed with a multi-ply built up roofing system. There is also structural steel reinforcement required from the inside of the building. Existing suspended ceiling and lighting will need to be removed and replaced. Protection of the interior finishes will be the contractors responsibility. There is a mix of EPDM and multiply built up roofs on this project. The lightweight sloped concrete on areas "A" and "D" will need to be removed.
