Question Deadline 03/30/2026 at 5:00 PM ET All questions or requests for information regarding the solicitation must be directed to the designated Procurement Representative listed in the solicitation Scope of Work To provide the full scope of work as per the attached plans and specifications for the Municipal Property Demolition 301 West Reynolds Street. 2.1. Specifications A. The Contractor shall begin work within 10 days after Notice to Proceed has been issued by the Procurement Division. Work shall only be authorized Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding City holidays. If the Contractor desires to work outside of the regular hours, a request must be made 48 hours prior to the planned work. The Contractor shall have one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days from the date Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the demolition (Completion Date). All paperwork noted as a part of the Closure Package must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the Completion Date stated in the Notice to Proceed Services. B. The Contractor must notify Plant City via email with the specific start day. In all cases, the Contractor is required to provide a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours' notice prior to commencement of work. Failure to provide notice may be grounds for suspension. C. Demolition services must be provided utilizing a "wet demo" method regardless of the presence of hazardous material. If asbestos material is present, a State licensed Asbestos Contractor must perform the work in accordance with established guidelinesmfor the type of material present. Removal of asbestos containing material must be performed by a contractor holding a State of Florida Contractor's license, licensure type CJC D. The Contractor shall be required to submit copies of all DEP Notices for asbestos abatement and demolition activity. Work dates on the notices must reflect actual work dates for in progress inspections. Any changes to notices must be sent in writing to the DEP and the City before work for that specific notice commences
