Work under this Contract involves the rehabilitation of the existing Gartner and Harf Pump Station. This includes installing the furnished pumps and accessories; furnishing and installing wet well and valve pit piping, meter manhole, electro magnetic flow meter, pressure transducer, control panel, milling, paving, and construction of a wood frame structure. The work also includes installation of a manhole on Fairfield Avenue. Each Bid must be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a Bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or Bid bond with corporate surety payable to the Summit Township Sewer Authority in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid price. Contractors must comply with Grant requirements including the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, the Steel Products Procurement Act, the American Iron and Steel Act, and "or equal" requirements as specified in the Contract Documents. The Summit Township Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
