Separate sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Dilworth Community Center at 16th Street North, Dilworth, Minnesota. Bid packages include concrete building, concrete polishing, precast concrete hollow core plank (material), masonry, structural steel (material), structural steel and hollow core (erection), general work and labor, millwork (material), moisture protection, liquid applied weather barriers, prefinished metal panels, sealants, doors, hardware, frames, overhead doors and coiling doors, glazing systems, drywall, tilework, acoustical work, resilient flooring & carpeting, painting, concrete floor finishes, kitchen equipment, moveable wall, building sprinkler system, plumbing, HVAC and temperature controls, electrical systems, earthwork, paving and surfacing, and site utilities. Construction is expected to begin following contract awards and must be completed by September 1, 2027. Bids must be submitted by mail or in-person using the specified bid form. Each bid must include the MN Responsible Contractor Verification Form and bid security in the form of a bond equal to 5% of the bid amount, as stipulated by Minnesota State Statutes. The bid form, contractor verification, and bid bond may be submitted together in one envelope. The Owner reserves the right to waive informality or reject any or all bids. Bidders cannot withdraw bids for 30 days after the opening date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager are not responsible for delivering proposals to the bid opening. Bid security may be cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check, and a completed verification form of compliance with minimum responsible contractor requirements must be submitted with the bid. Other contract documents and specifications may be examined at designated Builders Exchanges or obtained electronically from Gehrtz Construction Services.
