Site work and paving for a road / highway in Napoleon, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Furnish all services, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the improvement of specified roads, including sections of County Road F, County Road 10A, County Road S, County Road 24, County Road R, County Road O7, and Napoleon Township Road R1, and various roads and pavement repairs within the Henry County Fairgrounds with alternate paving for parking areas. The total project length is 7.97 miles under the project type "2026 Resurfacing and Related Roadway Improvements." All contractors and subcontractors must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor, and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements as specified by Ohio law. The use of domestic steel in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.011 is required. Each bidder must submit a bid guaranty either as a bond for the full bid amount or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid. If awarded the contract, a performance and payment bond is required for the full amount if a 10% bid guaranty was submitted. Prevailing wage rates as per the Ohio Revised Code will apply. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Estimated total cost of the improvements is Base Bid: $1,553,385.00 Base Bid with Alternate Bid: $1,596,625.00 New estimate is: Base Bid- $1,245,665.00 With Alternate- $1,288,905.00
