This tender is to solicit qualified vendors to supply, crush, load, haul and apply 25,000 metric tonnes of maintenance gravel for Spring 2026 delivery on Township of Howick roads. Aggregates shall meet the requirements of OPSS 1010, for Aggregates – Granular A, B, M and select sub grade material. The Township reserves the right to sample and test the aggregate at the Contractor’s expense, and any aggregate not meeting specifications will be rejected with no compensation. The Contractor will pay for sampling of the gravel to meet OPSS 1010 requirements, including any re-testing. Granular materials must be spread in a uniform layer over the road as directed, and only hopper delivery trucks are accepted for roadway delivery. The Contractor must deliver a minimum of 2,500 metric tonnes per day. Bids are received online through the Township's Bids and Tenders website.
