Replacement-in-kind of an existing fabric hangar door is required, consisting of providing and installing a new Assa Abloy Megadoor VL3190 to match the existing door configuration in accordance with the Statement of Work and all attached specifications. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and qualified installation personnel necessary to remove the existing system and install the brand-name-required replacement door. The acquisition consists of a single line item and requires the contractor to provide evidence of capability, realistic installation lead time, and complete pricing. Delivery and installation are required within an estimated 90 days after contract award, with destination delivery to the 115th Fighter Wing, where the door will be received and inspected for acceptance. Location: 115th Fighter Wing, 3110 Mitchell Street, Building 500, Madison, WI 53704 Scope A. Door Replacement - Demolish and dispose of the existing door, which is vertical lift ASSA ABLOY Megadoor VL3190. Replace the door, including specified fabric, batten strips, hardware, guideblock assemblies, wire ropes, safety arrestors, guard rails, side seals, floor seal, and all other components necessary for proper operation, with ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems components. ASSA ABLOY parts must be used to ensure compatibility with electromechanical drive and control systems. The fabric supplied will be color matched to the existing door, which is best described as "khaki". See page 3 for information about the current door. B. Work must be performed by personnel qualified to install Megadoor products. All work is subject to review by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and any changes shall be brought to the attention of the Contracting Officer (KO) prior to work being performed. C. Replacement shall include freight, transportation, supervision, technicians, labor, tools, lifting equipment, disposal, insurance, and any other items necessary to complete the project.
