The contract is for the construction of traffic calming devices, specifically concrete speed bumps, at various locations on an on-call basis. Bids must be submitted online as a firm Line Item Bid for the bid items identified in the Bid Form. Bidders are required to provide bid security, and the successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds. A pre-bid conference will be held, and bidders must meet qualification requirements as outlined. The City of Omaha reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 2/24/2026 02:00:00 PM (CT) QUESTIONS: Bidders must submit bid questions in the Questions tab of the bid event. Questions will be answered within one (1) day of the questions cutoff date/time. SCOPE: This project involves a contract to construct traffic calming devices on an on-call basis. Anticipated Notice to Proceed date: Monday, 5/4/2026 Requirement for Bid Bond: The surety company issuing the bid bond should be licensed by the State of Nebraska and listed on the current edition of Circular 570 of the United States Department of the Treasury. Acceptable substitutes for a bid bond: a certified check, an official bank check, a cashier's checks drawn on a national bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the state, payable to City of Omaha, or lawful money of the United States, or a United States Government Bond (negotiable).
