Renovation of a municipal facility in Beaumont, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Design services for the 105 W. 6th Street Building Rehab. The City of Beaumont ("City") is requesting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide design and related professional services for the rehabilitation and tenant improvement of the existing building located at 105 W. 6th Street, Beaumont, California. The project will bring the building into compliance with current California Building Code (CBC) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, as well as Title 24 energy and CALGreen standards, preparing the facility for future commercial lease. The term of the agreement shall be determined upon need of services and consistency with the city's policies. The initial period of the contract is one (1) year, with two (2) six-month extensions as approved by City Council, subject to agreement terms and the Beaumont Municipal Code. The award will be a lump sum. This project falls under the categories of other heavy and civil engineering construction, engineering services, and other specialized design services. License requirements, start/delivery date, and project duration are specified in the RFP. Bidders must also note there is a mandatory onsite pre-bid meeting at the project location. Online Q&A is allowed until the specified deadline. No bid, payment, or performance bonds are required. Bids must be valid for 90 days.
