Hazardous Materials Abatement o Perform all required abatement activities, including asbestos-containing materials and any other regulated hazardous materials identified in project documentation or encountered during the work. o Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, CDPHE, and local regulatory requirements. o Obtain and coordinate all required permits, notifications, inspections, and clearances. 2. Demolition o Complete full demolition of all structures identified in the Demolition Plan. o Remove foundations, slabs, and below-grade structures as specified. o Manage loading, hauling, and lawful disposal of all demolition debris. o Maintain site safety, dust control, erosion control, and environmental protections throughout the work. 3. Utilities o Coordinate, disconnect, cap, and secure all utilities serving the structures, including gas, electric, water, sewer, and telecommunications. o All utility coordination and associated costs shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 4. Salvage and Recycling o Salvage of materials is permitted o If salvage is conducted, the contractor shall provide a credit to High Plains Housing Development Corp. for the salvage value of materials retained or sold by the contractor. o The proposal shall clearly describe the salvage approach and how salvage credits will be calculated and applied. 5.
