Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide lawn mowing, leaf removal, landscaping, turf fertilization, and snow removal services for designated college campuses and satellite locations. The vendor should be capable of delivering consistent, high-quality grounds maintenance services that enhance campus safety, aesthetics, and environmental stewardship. The included services are turfgrass mowing and trimming, leaf removal, landscape bed maintenance and mulching, turf fertilization and weed control, and snow and ice removal. Services are required at multiple locations, including the Main Campus in Clifton, Harrison Campus, Cincinnati West Airport, and Evendale Workforce Development Campus. Minimum mowing standards specify that turfgrass must be maintained at a height of at least 3 inches, with no more than one-third of the grass blade removed per mowing cycle. Discharge deflectors/chutes must remain down during mowing. Trimming around trees, walls, curbs, beds, and walkways must be completed after each mowing. All hardscape areas are to be blown clean immediately, and grass clippings should not be blown into beds or tree rings. Any damage caused by contractor operations to turf, irrigation, trees, shrubs, or beds must be repaired or replaced at the contractor’s expense and reported to College Grounds personnel.
