Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City requires a qualified Contractor to undertake the civil and landscape renewal of the Mackin Yard Ball Diamond at Mackin Park. The Work consists of the removal and disposal of existing ball diamond infrastructure and the supply and installation of new civil and landscape Works necessary to reconstruct the facility in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and Project Timeline described in the RFP. The Work includes all required infrastructure, field preparation, and base construction, including drainage and irrigation systems, retaining walls, adjacent concrete walls and curb edges, chain-link fencing, backstops, dugouts, sand base, field aggregates, athletic sod, and related site furnishings and appurtenances. The Contractor is responsible for establishing the aggregate base and finished edge conditions required to accommodate the City's separately retained synthetic turf contractor. The synthetic turf supply and installation will be completed under a separate contract and does not form part of this RFP. However, the Contractor shall coordinate scheduling, sequencing, and technical requirements with the City and the synthetic turf contractor to ensure proper integration of the Works and overall project delivery.
