Site work for a water / sewer project in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes upgrading existing pump stations, installing new pumps and controls at existing pump stations, installing an access drive, and installing a privacy fence. The contract time is one hundred twenty consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $360 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the bidder to whom the contract documents and addenda, if any, have been issued by the engineer. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach or include a copy of their resident state's current law regarding the treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor that does not include their current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The City of Brookhaven reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
