Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a library; and religious / funeral development.

This project consists of remodeling the existing third floor of the Tax Commission Building in Salt Lake City, Utah, to accommodate the Department of Cultural and Community Engagement (CC&E). Work includes selective demolition, construction of new offices and support spaces, restroom renovations, and installation of new architectural finishes and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems. The project also includes remodeling a portion of the State Library to create a Human Remains Workroom, Cemetery Workroom, and Cemetery Storage Room with a new exterior entrance. Work in this area includes removal and relocation of existing library shelving and construction of new partitions, finishes, and associated building systems. Pre-qualification requirements: Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently on the respective DFCM Prequalified Contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid on this project.
