Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Duson, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for construction of the Parent Drop Off Lane at Ridge Elementary School, 2901 South Fieldspan Rd, Duson, LA 70529. The work under this contract is to be completed within 60 consecutive calendar days of the specified start date, with liquidated damages of $300 per day for late completion. Bids must be submitted as one original to the Lafayette Parish School System Purchasing Department or electronically at www.centerlinebidconnect.com. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to 5% of the proposed base bid plus all alternates. Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract will be required. Only contractors licensed for Building Construction or Highway, Street and Bridge Construction by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors are eligible. Bids may not be withdrawn for 45 days after receipt. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Minority business enterprises are encouraged to participate.
