The City of Round Rock seeks bids from firms experienced in home repair to provide all materials, labor, and services to repair three residential homes in accordance with the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City of Round Rock Home Repair Program is a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-funded program. The primary program objectives are to make health and safety-related repairs to owner-occupied homes, giving priority to very low-income applicants, income-eligible elderly, and disabled occupants. This Invitation for Bid describes services to repair the exterior and/or interior of residential structures as identified on the bid sheet provided herein. Services shall include, but not be limited to, repairing, or replacing flooring, countertops, fixtures, tile work, flooring, sheet rock, plumbing, HVAC, outdoor siding, roof, and other residential items. Repairs made shall ensure contracted work meets all applicable Federal, State, and Local building codes. -Possible window replacement or glass replacement. 12 windows total - Siding on side of house is dry-rotting along the bottom. Possible repair -Water damage in window seal. Replace glass. Weatherize and repair window seal. - Possible glass replacement.
