Site work for a power facility in Penticton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
Through this Request for Proposals, the City of Penticton invites submissions for the replacement of nine existing McGraw-Edison oil-filled reclosers-five at Huth Substation and four at Waterford Substation-and twelve existing Cooper VSA20A reclosers-six at Carmi Substation and six at Westminster Substation-with new Eaton Nova-NXSTS reclosers. The project also includes upgrading SEL-351R relays to SEL-651 relays housed in Eaton cabinets. Additional tasks include leveling installation pads at Waterford Substation, installing fiber connections for SCADA integration, and testing a pole-mounted recloser at 568 Dawson Ave. Comprehensive electrical testing and protection verification are required, and a detailed report must be submitted to the City within 30 days of completion.
