The scope of work consists of replacement of roofing at C-Wing, E-Wing East South, F-Wing East, G-Wing East, G-Wing West, and Gym buildings at Woodside High School. Bidders are required to possess a State of California contractor's license B and/or C-39, be registered as a public works contractor, and ensure licenses remain active and in good standing throughout the contract. Blueprints are available for free download. Bids must be submitted on the District's form and be responsive to all contract documents, including the instructions to bidders. Each bid must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required; failure to attend or tardiness will render a bid ineligible. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond and may substitute securities for monies withheld. All workers must be paid not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the State of California. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only, with the Board reserving the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive irregularities. Questions received less than SEVEN (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening bids may not be answered. Time for Completion: District may issue a Notice to Proceed within NINETY (90) days from the date of the Notice of Award. Once Contractor has received the Notice to Proceed, Contractor shall complete the Work within the period of time indicated in the Contract Documents.
