Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in Camrose, Alberta. Completed plans call for the addition of a 13,000-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The objective is to solicit proposals from qualified proponents to complete a design build for an addition to the existing West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill Maintenance Shop near Ferintosh, Alberta. The services to be performed by the successful proponent include architectural, mechanical, structural, electrical, civil, commissioning, and landscape architectural consulting services for the project. The successful proponent is also responsible for constructing the new building and all construction and quality control management. The project shall be designed so that the West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill Maintenance Shop Addition is in a single building with a useable area of approximately 13000 square feet. Some renovations are to be completed in the existing maintenance shop as part of the "Works". The proposed building shall have separate entrance/exit doors. The Shop shall have a washroom, office space, two drive-through bays, one wash-bay, a parts storage room, utility room, mezzanine storage, and separate industrial wash sink. See Appendix B for conceptual drawings. The proposed building shall be situated on the County owned site in Camrose County, Alberta. Please see Appendix C for a location map of the desired building site.
