The City of Calvert City, Kentucky is accepting sealed bid proposals for Lawn Care Services for the interchange at mile marker 27 on I-24/69. A copy of the scope and specifications for the project is available from the City Clerk at Calvert City-City Hall. After a thorough review of all proposals received, a contract shall be awarded to the most responsive and responsible proposal which submits the lowest evaluated proposal price, unless all proposals are rejected pursuant to the Calvert City Procurement Policy. The determination and identification of "responsive and responsible proposal" shall be based upon such investigation as the City deems necessary under the circumstances and may, at the discretion of the City Administrator, require the production of a proposal company's credit report, credit history, or such other documentation as the City Administrator may deem necessary to determine the proposal company's ability to fully perform the requirements of the proposed contract. Criteria for evaluating proposals may include cost, value, quality of workmanship, quality of materials, reliability, experience, expertise, reputation, service, availability, location, and timeliness. Those interested in providing a proposal shall prepare and deliver a Sealed Bid clearly labeled "Interchange 27 Mowing 2024" to the City of Calvert City, City Clerk's Office. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
