New construction and renovation of a conference / convention center in Gaffney, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
This project is being funded in whole or in part by The Appalachian Regional Commission ARC Grant # 4-G-24-21973. The project consists of complete interior renovation of the existing structure at 100 Railroad Avenue, Gaffney, S.C. to include conference spaces, restrooms and a catering kitchen and includes new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The work includes minor renovations to the exterior façade of the building and the addition of a new wood framed exterior deck. Renovation of a historic building in Gaffney to create a new conference center. Includes extensive masonry and wood repairs in addition to new construction and finishes. This project is funded by a federal grant and all contractors and subs must be registered in SAM.gov. Plans and specifications are available in the online planroom.
