A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: Replacement of County Route 22 over Sawyer Creek including the removal and replacement of the bridge on a similar vertical and horizontal roadway alignment, installation of a 72-6 long multiple steel girder superstructure with composite concrete deck, support on semi-integral abutments bearing on bedrock, 10-0 travel lanes, 4-0 shoulders, about 400 feet of approach roadway reconstruction, and new box beam guide railings. Traffic will be maintained on an off-site detour during construction. Replacement of County Route 34 over Trout Brookincluding removal and replacement of the existing bridge on a similar alignment, installation of a 60-0 long multiple steel girder superstructure with composite concrete deck, support on integral abutments on drilled micropiles to bedrock, 10-0 travel lanes, 4-0 shoulders, about 150 feet of approach roadway reconstruction, and new box beam guide railings. Traffic will be maintained on an off-site detour during construction. This is a Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications must be followed. There are specified EEO Employment goals. All bids must include the required forms and a bid security of at least 5%. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment, and Guarantee Bonds for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to contract award. The project is covered under New York State Labor Law, and each bidder must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from NYSDOL. The project owner reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five days after receipt before awarding any contract and may reject any or all bids. No questions regarding the bid will be accepted within seven business days prior to bid opening.
