Sealed bids are sought for painting and repairs of the 100,000 elevated Turner St. tank. The work includes furnishing all labor and materials and performing all tasks as outlined by the advertisement, general conditions, specifications, and drawings. Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory site inspection/pre-bid meeting. Only drawings, specifications, and contract documents obtained from the designated provider will be accepted. Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond for at least 5 percent of the base bid with their sealed bid, which must be clearly labeled and delivered by the specified deadline. Bids must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act. Bidders must also certify non-segregation of employee facilities. The city reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
