The Kativik School Board (KSB), also known as Kativik Ilisarniliriniq, was created in 1975 under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA). Over the next three years, the administration of all schools in Nunavik, which had previously been provided by the provincial and federal governments, was transferred to us.
