The City of Hayti is seeking bids for the periodic mowing, trimming, and edging of the following parcels: all lawn areas of the Hayti Fire Station property at Highway 84 and Delta Lane; the “H” landscaped area at the intersection of Highway 84 and State Route J; Woodlawn Cemetery (including the undeveloped section behind the City Park, approximately 4.5 acres), Evergreen Cemetery (including the undeveloped section south of existing west Evergreen, approximately 2 acres), the small cemetery on Highway 84 in front of the US Post Office, and the small cemetery north of John W. German Funeral Home; all portions of the right-of-way for Missouri Exit No. 19, Interstate 55, including the overpass for Missouri State Highway 84; and the City Baseball fields, tennis court, and walking track area. Interested persons may submit a bid for any one or more of the parcels listed. All bidders must provide a bid amount for each requested performance of mowing, weeding, trimming, and edging for each area for which a bid is submitted. The number and timing of these operations will be at the discretion of the City. The City reserves the right to award a contract on each item separately or as a group. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the City and maintain insurance as specified. All bids must be received by the City Clerk at the designated address and time. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
