Site work and paving for a road / highway in Madison, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The scope of work consists of the construction of ADA curb ramps, removal and replacement of inlets, and HMA resurfacing of 10th St. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. Contractors are required to pay prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor and comply with the Davis-Bacon Act. The project is subject to approval of permits and availability of funds from Madison County Community Development and is subject to all related regulations and requirements. Section 3 Participation and Build America, Buy America Act compliance are required. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used must be produced in the United States unless a waiver is obtained, and material certifications must be provided. Compliance with the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act is required, including overtime pay and adherence to safety standards and recordkeeping. All applicable laws, ordinances, and rules and regulations of authorities with jurisdiction apply to the contract.
